Seychelles IBC Names

There are some particular requirements that must be followed when coming up with a name for your Seychelles Company. To be more specific, a Seychelles IBC may not be registered if its name is similar to an existing Seychelles company’s name.

The name of a Seychelles IBC can be in any language. The most popular name ending suffixes are the words “Limited”, “Corporation”, “Incorporated”, “Société Anonyme”, “Sociedad Anonima” or the abbreviations which denoting a corporate or limited liability such as “Ltd”, “Corp”, “Inc” or “SA”.
However, there are some IBC name restrictions that you need to avoid: the words "Assurance", "Bank", "Building Society", "Chamber of Commerce", "Chartered, "Cooperative", "Imperial", “Insurance", "Municipal", "Trust", "Foundation", or which suggests the patronage of any Government and containing a identical meaning.
